	counterculture from the underground: 10/21/2007 10:09 AM puppyluck said: is that one monkey wearing headphones? the mural shows the traditional "see no evil/hear no evil/speak no evil" monkeys updated for the rave generation. one of them (under the "T") is reading a paper, the next is listening to headphones, and the third is speaking into a megaphone. I guess the artist was trying to encourage engagement with culture rather than denial, but unfortunately, his/her monkeys still seem to be cutting themselves off from the world ... in modern ways. & the stylized letters the monkeys are sitting on read "amusement" :)
