I loves me some bus.
Entanglement
These two buses got their poles tangled, on one of the busiest
corners, at the busiest time of day, and the drivers couldn't get them
apart! I think the impact broke some part of the electrical relay or
whatever.
There was a high pitched beeping noise coming out of the driver's
console, periodic at first, then resolving into a steady whine. It
sounded just like a heart monitor in an operating room. "The patient
has died," someone said. Then we all got chucked out onto the
sidewalk to wait for the traffic jam to clear.
